Privacy & Community Standards

How this build handles your information, and the standards members agree to follow.

Local accounts and activity

There is no hosted account backend in this build. Account information, profiles, orders, messages and learning progress are stored in this browser’s localStorage. Passwords and recovery answers are salted and hashed locally, not stored as plain text or sent to an authentication server. Sessions are also browser-local. Information does not sync across devices; clearing site data removes local accounts and activity.

A shared browser is not private storage. Sign out when finished, do not use a password you use elsewhere, and avoid entering sensitive personal, financial or pastoral information into this demonstration.

Your account controls

Profile → Account & Security lets you change your password, sign-in email and recovery question, or delete your account and its associated local app data. Profile privacy preferences remain available. These settings do not create a server-backed privacy boundary or turn this demonstration into a shared live network.

Optional AI and external requests

If the deployment has a Gemini API key configured, AI tools may send the text and context needed for a request to Google’s Gemini service. Without a key, built-in offline content is used. Do not include sensitive information in AI prompts. The app also uses external image and avatar services (Picsum and UI Avatars); some generated avatar requests include a display name. Those providers receive the request and network information. Links to the parent site, YouTube or other apps take you to separate websites.

FaithCast uses the browser speech engine. The availability of voices and whether speech is processed on-device or by a provider depends on your browser and selected voice.

Community standards

At signup, members commit to no harassment, no spam, and honest representation of their faith and work. Keep professional interactions, prayer requests and introductions respectful. Do not share someone else’s private information without permission.

Demonstration and learning limitations

Profiles, businesses and other content include seeded examples. The interface’s verification labels are not an independent guarantee of identity or safety. FaithMatch introductions and messaging are browser-local demonstrations, not delivery to real members. Marketplace checkout and tithing do not process payments or donations. Learning certificates record completion in the app and are not externally accredited credentials. AI output can be inaccurate; review it before relying on it.

Ownership and scope

FaithConnect Pro is a product and property of Saul’s Podship. This page describes the implementation and existing community commitments of this app. It does not replace account controls or promise practices for other websites.
